Results AAAC Pool Freedive Competition 2007

20070429_AAAC_Comp_06.jpgToday Apnea Academy Amsterdam Club (AAAC) organized their first pool freediving competition. A total of 12 freedivers, 3 female, 9 male, came together in a nice 50 meter pool in Beverwijk near Amsterdam. Some of them complete beginners and some of them already somewhat further in their freediving career.

Winner with the men was Eric van Riet Paap with a total of 131,4 point made up with a 5:57 static and a 120 meter dynamic with fins. With the women Nanja van den Broek won with 103,4 points, a static of 4:47 and a dynamic of 112 meters.

My Sharkbait buddy Sanne Buurma showed that he’s exactly on the right track with his ’13 project’ by doing an easy 5:33 static and a 108 meter dynamic. Tomorrow I’ll do an analyses about his static and dynamic performance on our Sharkbait blog. In the mean time you can read Sanne’s own story here and the complete results can be found here.
