Oh and sorry about the bad sound quality of the video. It was taped with my Canon Digital Ixus 700 which I normally only use for photo’s. It also acts as a great small underwater video camcorder.

Now there you go. I am so terribly disappointed. I held off diving all week hoping to win this book. It could have given me hours of excuse to stay out of the water- so as not to risk damage due to moist salty fingers or sudden sinus drainage while reading.
Now I see not other options. My only choice to experience more freediving seems to be… to actually go into the ocean. With great regret I will venture into the cool, vibrant Pacific at first light tomorrow.

I know how hard it is, but I hope you can find some enjoyment in freediving in the ocean tomorrow. It’s much more fun just reading and chatting about it, then really doing it! Anyway, good luck!
