Kolubara Apnea Open Cup Serbia 2007
Last weekend was also time for the Kolubara Apnea Open Cup in Serbia. Sometimes it takes a while to find some news or the results but in the end most of the times I manage to get them.
Competition was held on 10th November 2007 in Lazarevac, Serbia. As it was an AIDA International ranking competition in three disciplines (STA, DNF, DYF) it’s always interesting to review a ranking comp.
The competition itself was held in a 25 meter pool with a very nice temperature of 31 degrees and 2 meters depth. But the interesting thing is that there is also a 5m section where the depth gradually degrades from 2 meters to 80cm. There is something in the rules about this. Isn’t that too shallow? Oh well, as long as they had fun…
With the men clear winner was Goran Colak from Croatia who did a 6:32 static, a 112 meter dynamic without fins and a 158 meter with fins. Winner with the women was Subotin Darija from Serbia with a 4:04 static, 68 meter without fins and a 74 meter with fins dynamic.
The complete results can be found in my specially made spreadsheet. And if anybody has some photos… you know where to send them too!
