Well, let’s put a whole lot of AIDA news in one post. Works better. First of all AIDA announces the renewed executive board for this year. Not to spectacular and normally we only hear the president Bill Stromberg talking about what’s going on, but maybe communication will improve this year with their new forum. Anyway, good luck and thanks again for the work putting in AIDA.

Second AIDA tells the judges that from now on they should be very accurate with writing down the results including all blackouts and surface protocol failures because they now finally have a method to keep track of all this information. Too bad they didn’t do this like 5 years ago. I wonder what data will show up after 5 years of noting this down… Well to be honest, I’ve got a pretty good idea, because I’ve kept track of all competitions since 2000 and I’ve got 80% of the results including this kind of information. It’s very easy to show a top 10 of blackout kings in competitions of the last year. A T-Shirt for the person who guesses the number one BO king first!

And last but not least AIDA announces two new AIDA national organizations. Welcome to AIDA Argentina and once again Spain! If I remember correctly this is the third time that Spain joins AIDA and I hope this organization will stay a little longer. Good luck too both!
