Sandi Bitenc 24 hour Freediving
Yesterday we arrived in Maribor (Slovenia) to witness Sandi Bitenc break the current 24 hour freediving dynamic record of 44 kilometers. As this is an official Guinness record it will be fun to broadcast as much as possible of the event live.
Tonight at 18:00 GMT+1 hours Sandi start with his schedule and we’re going to tweet, blog, video, live stream and do a lot more during these hours. For me and Sanne this will also be a little experiment on how we can make freediving together with live broadcasting to the web a lot more interesting. So give comments, shout for Sandi and ask questions. We are llive for the next 48 hours, so let it come.
The picture on the side are Sandi’s feet after the last test of 10 hours continious monofinning. Pretty extreme, and I’m wondering if his toe nails are still on his feet after 24 hours.
The official website about the attempt is here. Slovenian version has more info then the english at the moment, but that’s why we are here.
