Yasemin Dalkilic Attempting 125 Meter Variable Weight

selman bodrum (10)While Yasemin Dalkilic is already training for some time for a new freediving record attempt, until now it was not clear yet which discipline she would attempt the record in, besides being a depth record.

Yasemin’s trainer, Rudi Castineyra, has revealed that she will attempt to do a 125 meter variable weight dive on December 27. That’s 3 meter deeper then the current AIDA record which is in hands of Tanya Streeter  since 2003.

There is ofcourse still the question if the record attempt will be ratified by AIDA or any other organization, but Rudi promised more on this later on their blog.

In the mean time Yasemin keeps training and just finished a training in Turkey where she already reached 92 meters without any problems, and if the weather would have permitted she would already have done 100 meters.

Good luck with training and preparation to Team Yasemin. More info on their website and facebook page.
