News From Bahamas WC Athletes
If you want to follow all the news about the freediving world championships in the Bahamas then you’ve got a lot of options. Of course your number 1 option is following Shark Freediving for all the news, but as I’m not always online, and news will come in at moments that I’m asleep (although this is not even these days), it’s good to know where you can find information from the freedivers themselves attending the competition.
The fastest way to deliver news is through the use of Twitter. But somehow I just couldn’t find any attending freediver on Twitter. So if you know about any, let me know in the comments.
Another source is Facebook. The majority of freedivers are on Facebook. Too bad that it is a closed system. I’ve made a group for myself of all the freedivers attending the world championships, so that I can filter very easy and fast the news coming in from them. If only I could make a RSS stream from this.
Then of course there are all the blogs. At the moment the most active bloggers at the competition site are Ryuzo, Herbert, Kerian and Guillaume. This will probably increase in the coming days when more and more athletes will arrive. I’ve made a special page for all freedivers and their blogs here. You can easily subscribe with your own RSS reader to it, so that you won’t miss anything.
Also I adde a special link to all the Depth World Championships 2009 articles and news that will appear on Shark Freediving. You can find the link in the menu at the top of the website.
To complete the list I’ve made a spreadsheet with all the athletes and the currently known websites. If you have more information, let me know in the comments.
